Get Your Computers Ready for TeachForth
TeachForth uses GitHub Codespaces for our Python and Java classes, so students can code directly in the browser.
For 3D Modeling classes, we use Blender, which must be installed on each computer.
coding setup
TeachForth uses GitHub Codespaces for both Python and Java, so coding happens directly in the browser.
01
CHECK YOUR BROWSER
Students will use GitHub Codespaces in a web browser. Make sure each computer has a current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari.
02
CREATE YOUR GITHUB ACCOUNT
Every student needs their own free GitHub account to participate in TeachForth coding classes.
03
USE GITHUB
CODESPACES
TeachForth uses GitHub Codespaces for both Python and Java. Students can write, run, and save their code without installing coding software on the computer.
