Help Build What Comes Next

Building communities that teach

Learning Today. Leading Tomorrow.

OUR STORY

Built on Decades of Learning, Teaching, and Leading

TeachForth grew out of more than two decades of work at SummerTech, where we watched students do more than learn technology. They came back as teachers, mentors, and leaders.

We saw firsthand that teaching others builds confidence, communication, responsibility, and a deeper understanding of what you’ve learned.

TeachForth brings that experience into communities where access to technology education and mentorship is limited, helping young people learn, teach, lead, and eventually build something that can sustain itself.

TeachForth grew from the SummerTech community and more than two decades of helping young people become teachers, mentors, and leaders.
OUR MISSION

Opportunity Grows When Learning Is Shared

TeachForth partners with communities to give young people access to technology education, mentorship, and opportunities to become teachers themselves.

Our goal goes beyond helping students develop technical skills. We create pathways for them to become teachers, mentors, and leaders who strengthen their own communities.

OUR VISION

Communities That Grow Their Own Leaders

We envision communities where young people don’t just receive opportunities. They become the teachers, mentors, and leaders who create opportunities for others.

TeachForth helps build that cycle so knowledge, confidence, and leadership continue to grow within the community over time.

OUR IMPACT

What It Looks Like in Practice

In Oracabessa, Jamaica, TeachForth partners with the GoldenEye Foundation to create a pathway that begins with local technology education and grows into mentorship, teaching, and leadership.

Students have progressed from learning in their own community to attending SummerTech in New York, building projects of their own, and returning with new skills and experiences to share with others.

That experience is helping shape a model TeachForth can bring to new communities: start with access, develop teachers and leaders, and help communities increasingly carry the work forward themselves.
