Foster global connections and opportunities for students to engage with a diverse network of learners and professionals.

How It Works

Selection Process

With the Goldeneye Foundation we will identify high-potential students from Oracabessa who have demonstrated an interest in coding, digital arts, and leadership.

SummerTech Training

Selected students will travel to SummerTech in New York, where they will participate in an immersive program designed to build their technical and instructional skills.

Mentorship & Certification

Students will receive mentorship from experienced SummerTech instructors, work toward SummerTech Teaching Certification, and develop a culture of peer-teaching tailored for their peers in Jamaica.

Implementation in Oracabessa

After their training, students will return to Jamaica equipped with the knowledge, tools, and support needed to lead their own coding and digital arts workshops, fostering a growing community of young tech leaders.

Why This Matters

This initiative is more than just an educational program—it is a movement to create sustainable opportunities for youth in Oracabessa. By investing in their growth, we empower them to become changemakers, opening doors to careers in technology and creative fields. The skills they gain will not only enhance their personal development but also strengthen their community’s access to high-quality education.

Beyond technical expertise, this program fosters essential leadership and soft skills, such as communication, accountability, and confidence. Participants will develop the ability to collaborate effectively, take responsibility for their learning and teaching, and gain the self-assurance needed to inspire and educate others. These skills are critical for their long-term success, both in their careers and as future leaders of their community.
